Born in the US but educated in Dublin, he won a seat in Cork North Central at the 2016 General Election having been unsuccessful at the 2002, 2007 and 2011 elections. He was first elected to Cork City Council in 2004. Originally a member of the Labour Party, he left the party alongside Joe Higgins, Clare Daly and 11 others in 1989. He has been based in Cork since 1992 and was a full-time political activist for over a decade before he was elected to the Dáil.

Originally from Rylane but now based outside Mitchelstown, he is President of Ireland First. A vocal anti-immigration campaigner, he has led protests outside a number of properties linked to housing asylum seekers and refugees. He is also known for confronting Government ministers at public events. A bricklayer by trade, he emigrated to Canada before moving back to Cork and becoming involved in right wing politics.

A native of Dripsey, he worked as a solicitor in Cork city having studied at UCC. He was elected to Cork City Council in 1995, served as Lord Mayor in 2003 and then left the council in 2007, having replaced Simon Coveney as an Ireland South MEP. He lost his Strasbourg seat in 2009 but was elected to the Seanad in both 2011 and 2016. An unsuccessful candidate in the 2019 by-election in Cork North Central, he was finally elected to the Dáil in 2020. He was appointed Junior Health Minister in early 2024.

A 35 year old father of four who holds a BSc in health and nutrition, he said his campaign will be focused on helping the vulnerable, stigmatised and voiceless within Cork communities. A long-time campaigner for a compassionate new drug policy, his election focus will be on healthcare and overdue investment in chronically over-stretched public health services.

Based in Glanmire, she studied first at Riverstown national school before attending Coláiste an Phiarsaigh and then University College Cork (UCC) where she secured a history degree. She has travelled extensively across the world before returning to Ireland to work as a teacher. She is currently working at Upper Glanmire national school and is a mother of two. A volunteer with Foroige, she said that community development, education, healthcare and family issues will be her main campaign issues.

A solicitor and mother of two, she was the Social Democrats' candidate in the 2024 European Parliament election, garnering over 20,000 votes. She worked in the area of commercial law before opening her own Cork practice in 2019 and specialising in human rights law. She has focused her work on helping people access mental health and disability services as well as social housing. She is a graduate of University College Cork (UCC) and the University of London.

A political veteran of Cork North Central, he has served as a member of Cork City Council for over 20 years and held the post of Lord Mayor in 2017/18. He topped the poll in his electoral ward both in 2019 and 2024. He will be hoping that an improvement of his electoral performance in the 2020 General Election when he garnered 3,338 first preference votes could see him in contention for a Dáil berth now that the constituency is restored to a five seater. Based in Hollyhill, he has campaigned for enhanced education, healthcare and housing facilities for the northside community.

The first Dáil deputy ever elected from Knocknaheeny, Mr Gould became a TD at the 2020 General Election after topping the poll with a huge first preference vote. He had been a member of Cork City Council since 2014. A graduate of Cork Institute of Technology (CIT/now MTU), he worked with Dawn Dairies and JDS Foods before becoming a full-time public representative. A keen sports fan, he is also very involved in community development, Irish language and arts groups on Cork's northside.

A youth worker, she is based in the Mayfield-Ballyvolane area and has been endorsed by veteran Cork North Central politician Councillor Ted Tynan. She has identified the health service, housing, social disadvantage and homelessness as key issues in the forthcoming general election. An avowed socialist, she warned that the health system is on its knees. A key local issue she has singled out is chronic congestion on the North Ring Road which links multiple northside communities.

A father of four, he is a graduate of University College Cork (UCC) and holds both a BComm and a Masters Degree in Government. Councillor Kelleher previously worked for the European Commission in both Brussels and Luxembourg. He has emerged as one of the increasingly high profile figures within the Fine Gael party in Cork and is also Chairperson of the Béal na mBláth General Michael Collins Committee. He is also a member of Ballincollig Tidy Towns.

A native of Mallow, he became a member of Cork Co Council when he was co-opted onto the authority in early 2024 following the departure of another Labour councillor. Having studied at the Patrician Academy in Mallow, he attended Mary Immaculate College in Limerick and now teaches business and religion at Mayfield Community College. A keen sports fan, he is a member of Mallow GAA, Mallow Arts Group and its Tidy Town Committee.

Last June he was elected to Cork City Council for its South West ward.

A member of Cork City Council since 2019, he is a keen sports fan and has been very involved in the scouting movement, being Scout Leader at St Patrick's/Summerhill. He unsuccessfully contested the 2019 Cork North Central by-election and 2020 General Election.

He was elected to Cork City Council in 2019 and unsuccessfully contested both the 2019 Cork North Central by-election and 2020 General Election. Last June he was successfully returned to Cork City Council for the North East ward. In 2010, he founded Second Republic, a national campaign to promote political reform. He has supported a number of IT initiatives and has worked with Wikimedia Ireland, the national affiliate of the Wikimedia Foundation.

Over recent years, she has been brand manager for Trigon Hotels which controls Cork's famous Metropole Hotel. Married to Councillor Colm Kelleher, she is a mother-of-one and said her campaign will be focused on the issues facing Irish families and working parents. She contested the 2020 General Election for Fianna Fail.

The son of former Fianna Fáil TD Noel O'Flynn, he was first elected to Cork City Council in 2009. Initially elected as a Fianna Fáil councillor, he quit the party in 2020 and contested the general election that year as an independent in Cork North Central, narrowly failing to get elected. In early 2024, he joined Independent Ireland and was re-elected to Cork City Council with the biggest first preference vote of any councillor.

Prior to becoming a full-time politician, he worked as a teacher at Colaiste an Chraoibhin in Fermoy and City of Cork VEC.

Very active in environmental protection, he has been a campaigner to enhance local communities and tackle issues such as litter. He is a major supporter of Marymount Hospice. His core campaign issues are affordable and social housing, employment, increased local policing resources and excessive hospital waiting lists.
